Privacy Policy — Know Me

Know Me ("the App") is operated by Martin Condet, registered as auto-entrepreneur in France.

The short version

We collect almost nothing. Game history stays on your device. Remote play data is ephemeral and deleted when the room closes.

2. Data We Collect

Local Data (on your device only)

  • Game history (scores, grades, dates played)
  • Player names you enter for each game session
  • Preferences (onboarding state, premium status)
  • In-app purchase receipts (managed by Apple)

This data never leaves your device unless you use Remote Play.

Remote Play Data

When you play remotely, the following data is transmitted via WebSocket to our relay server:

  • Player names (entered by each player)
  • Answers and guesses (selected option indices only)
  • Game configuration (relationship type, depth levels, categories, question count)
  • Room code (randomly generated, temporary)

This data is ephemeral: it exists only in server memory during the active game session and is permanently deleted when both players disconnect or the room expires. We do not log, store, or analyze game session data.

3. Remote Play Server

Remote play uses a Cloudflare Workers WebSocket relay at knowme-ws.martinpaulcondet.workers.dev. This server:

  • Does not store any data persistently
  • Does not log player information
  • Does not use cookies or tracking
  • Automatically deletes rooms after disconnection

4. Analytics & Tracking

None. We do not use any analytics SDK, crash reporting, advertising framework, or user behavior tracking.

5. In-App Purchases

Purchases (Premium unlock, Couples Pack, Family Pack) are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.

6. Children's Privacy

Some questions may contain mature themes depending on depth level and relationship type. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Since we do not store personal data on any server (remote play data is ephemeral), there is nothing to access, rectify, or delete on our end. Local game history is entirely under your control on your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy before shipping any features that change data collection practices.
