FocusCheck ("the App") is operated by Martin Condet, registered as auto-entrepreneur in France. By downloading or using FocusCheck, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Description of the App

FocusCheck is a science-based focus and attention tracker that helps users assess their Focus Score through a baseline assessment and optimize it through 25 daily actions backed by peer-reviewed research. The app tracks daily habit completion and shows the compound effect on the user's baseline over time.

Key features include:

  • 14-question baseline assessment with Focus Score (0–100)
  • 25 daily boost actions across 5 categories (Sleep, Training, Nutrition, Supplements, Lifestyle)
  • Compound baseline tracking with exponential smoothing
  • Focus Killers: habits that damage sustained attention (premium)
  • Myth Busters: common misconceptions debunked with research (premium)
  • Premium analytics: trend charts, heatmaps, weekly insights (premium)
  • Home screen widget

All features run entirely on your device. No internet connection is required.

2. Health & Medical Disclaimer

FocusCheck is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

  • The Focus Scores and boost percentages are based on published scientific studies but are approximations only
  • The baseline assessment is not a clinical ADHD test and cannot diagnose ADHD or any medical condition
  • The 25 daily actions are derived from peer-reviewed research but individual results vary
  • Focus Killer percentages and Myth Buster analyses reflect study findings, not guaranteed individual outcomes

You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, supplement routine, exercise regimen, or lifestyle based on information in this app. If you suspect you have ADHD or any attention-related condition, seek evaluation from a qualified clinician.

3. Purchases & Pricing

  • FocusCheck offers a free tier with full access to the baseline assessment, 25 daily actions, score display, and today's progress
  • A one-time premium purchase ($4.99 USD or equivalent) unlocks Focus Killers, Myth Busters, trend charts, heatmaps, and weekly analytics
  • No subscriptions. No auto-renewing charges. No free trials that convert to paid
  • All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
  • Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as we do not process payments directly

4. Scientific Citations

FocusCheck references peer-reviewed studies for every action, Focus Killer, and Myth Buster. These citations are provided for transparency and educational purposes. We make a good-faith effort to accurately represent study findings, but we do not guarantee the completeness or continued validity of any referenced research.

5. Data & Privacy

All user data (assessment results, daily logs, preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in FocusCheck — including the app name, design, code, action descriptions, science summaries, scoring algorithms, and illustrations — is the intellectual property of Martin Condet. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the app without prior written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Redistribute or resell the app or its content
  • Misrepresent the app's scores as medical diagnoses

8. Limitation of Liability

FocusCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any health decisions made based on the app's content
  • We are not liable for the accuracy of Focus Scores or boost percentages
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
